I've been a caregiver for a 23-year-old woman with cerebral palsy for almost a year now. I also have extensive experience working as a substitute teacher in classrooms for kids with disabilities, and I work with these special children in my church as well. People with special needs are wonderful blessings who can teach us so much about life, and I believe it is the responsibility of people without disabilities to care for them and help them get the most out of life! God loves all of us equally, and He calls us all to care for and love one another. I believe that taking care of those with special needs is an answer to that calling!
