I have recently updated my application for a special needs provider because that is exactly what my passion in life is doing. I have over four years of experience in caring for children with sensory processing disorder, have worked for an autism society with a non-verbal teenager, and have over two years of experience in working at a pediatric therapy clinic, where I ran camps for children with many disabilities from Down's syndrome, autism to cerebral palsy. I love sports, so when you can't find me at home with my 6-month-old, you can find me on a ball field or court somewhere. I currently was a coach for a league and volunteer for the Special Olympics, as well. I graduated valedictorian of my class and have a very flexible schedule as I am a stay-at-home mom. I recently quit my full-time job to be able to spend more time with my son but also, so that I could have the opportunity to pursue my passion in life which as I stated earlier is helping kids with special needs and enriching their life the best that I can, whether that be as a friend, mentor, or tutor.
