During the school year, I work at a camp for individuals with chronic illnesses and disabilities. I have worked with a wide range of disabilities such as CP, SB, autism, diabetes, and many more. I am very familiar with transferring, hoyer lifts, bladder/bowel management, insulin injections, behavior interventions, and many more. I love working with individuals with disabilities and also atypical children and adults as well. I have a true passion for this type of work.

Kelli B. worked for me at my business. Her duties included answering phones, filing and other clerical duties as needed. Kelli was a great worker. She was always on time, eager to learn more and a pleasure to employ. Kelli left employment with my firm to attend Slippery Rock University where she is studying Elementary Education and Special Education. On a few occasions I would bring my daughter to work with me when I didn't have a babysitter and my daughter just loved her. She always wanted to come to work with me knowing that Kelli was here. While on her lunch break she would play with my daughter, she was not asked to entertain her but Kelli loves little kids and you can see it when she interacted with my daughter. Seeing how she was with my daughter, I asked her if she would be interested in babysitting in the evenings when needed. We had her babysit on 3 occasions and my daughter was thrilled. She interacted with my daughter, played games, even taught her things that she needed to start 1st grade through playing. My daughter didn't even realize that she was learning through play which was great! We enjoyed having her be a part of our company and our family. We wish her nothing but the best in school and we miss her.
