Greetings! I am a recent graduate from Concordia University Chicago with a double major in Theatre and Business Marketing. I was a caregiver to my mother as she battled brain cancer. This gave me experience in assisting with climbing stairs, using the restroom, and other daily tasks such as getting in and out of bed or a vehicle. My mother enjoyed the challenge of completing tasks on her own (i. e. she was kinda stubborn :), so I also learned how to assist a person while still giving them the freedom of completing tasks on their own. I am a great cook and very good at cleaning and doing laundry. While caring for my mother I enjoyed reading to her and taking her on outings to the park or running errands together. I have a vehicle and an impeccable driving record. My strengths lie with communicating and interacting with people. I like getting to know who they are and what life has taught them. I also enjoy life 's adventures whether that means visiting museums, going to the library, or scuba diving Lake Michigan with my family on the weekends. I also have experience working with ADD and ADHD children while assisting in their learning and development.
