My experience with special needs' children has been included in four years as a student in University for Special Education. In the summer of 2012, I was also a day camp employee at a children's home. I previously worked with children in a group home setting. These children were high-risk and also had multiple disabilities. My current job is that of a Parent Educator for a local program known as Early Head Start. I am the oldest of five children and have experience with infants. This group of children have always had a special place in my heart. I believe in inclusion in all aspects of life and the importance of quality of life. I have been told to be a very patient person and I find this to be a positive quality for my field of work.
