My name is Julie and I am 27 years old. I work at the NYS Health Department full time and am available on nights and weekends to help out. I have worked in two child care centers in the past and interned at the NYS Museum after school program when attending SUNY Albany. I graduated in December with a Bachelor's in English. At the Museum, we had some children that required extra attention. Several of them have attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. I provided them with social, emotional, and cognitive knowledge, assisted them with their homework, and worked with them to control their emotions and to concentrate on the task at hand. With all that said, I love to be outside as much as I can. I enjoy hiking a lot, and biking as well. I love to be around children and having a fun and good time with them. In my spare time I really enjoy reading and exercising. I believe that every child should live a healthy lifestyle and I will do my best to give that to your child.
