I provide care to special needs patient in all areas. I have experience with assisting with any personal needs, hygiene, preparing meals, taking places, giving meds and companionship. I have worked in homes for special needs adults several years ago. Most recently I was employed at an elementary school working in the structured learning center program with autistic children. Have also been working in homes doing one on one care off and on for the past few years as well. Before that I was raising my 3 kids, now ages 22, 19 and 16 and following another passion of mine. I was teaching dance and had been the operations manager at a fitness studio for 6 years. I am looking forward to getting back to taking care of those on a daily basis in every aspect that need it the most.

To say I am disappointed is an understatement. We phone interviewed, face to face interviewed and completed with new hire paperwork with a start date that we agreed on. I was sent a message through Care.com instead of texting me informing me that Jennifer took another job. This has left me in a complete bind as my current caregiver is leaving due to moving, I have a FT job I just started and I already closed my job because Jennifer had accepted our job. This was not professional at all.
