I have been, and currently I am still working with special needs children/adults since 2001. I love what I do, and have been told many times that this is my purpose in life. I am currently providing respite care for children I had over 10 years ago in elementary school who are now adult age. I am a mom of 4 adult sons, and have been assisting my son in raising my beautiful 15-year-old granddaughter. I am very caring and compassionate with all children/adults. I don't want to take your place, but I do want you to feel like I am taking care of your child as if he/she were my very own.

Jan has offered superb in-home respite for my specials needs adult son. She is kind and conscientious. She takes the initiative to do light household chores, which is a very simple but remarkably helpful way to allow me time for my family. Most respite people do not do this. Jan keeps my son busy and challenged. She is energetic and enthusiastic and my son loves spending time with her. I've known Jan for many years and I'm always impressed by her hard work ethic and her high energy, and optimistic personality. I strongly recommend Jan for employment.
