As well as have personal experience with family members children who have seizures daily. And I have worked as a tutor/mentor and mathematics summer program where I've also experienced children with ADD and ADHD. I also have a BA in sociology/anthropology.

I have known Janette since 2009 when she applied for an after-school tutoring/mentoring position at the College of Staten Island. She provided after-school homework help to elementary children at the the community center, which is one of our partner sites. She works very well with children. She is patient, understanding and nurturing. She is passionate about working with children, which was evident in her sessions I observed. She truly cares about the well being of children and their academics. She responds well to her employers and carries herself in a respectable way. Without hesitation, I highly recommend her as a care giver.
