I've worked for the past 14 years as an Ed Tech II in the local school. I've stayed with it so long because I find it very rewarding to use my resources, patience and knowledge to help children with challenges reach their goals. I have worked with augmentative communication devices and the PECS system. For the past year I've also worked as a nanny for 2 children. I was responsible for helping with speech, personal care, sensory needs, food preparation, feeding and encouraged trying new foods. I also potty trained and helped with homework. I love making a positive difference in the lives of children, the elderly and their families. I've raised a family of my own and they are now grown and successful adults.
