I started babysitting children when I was 12-years-old. I have 3 biological kids (well not kids anymore), was a licensed foster parent for 9 years and adopted 5 special needs children. I have worked as a paraprofessional in the resource room of several elementary schools with children having many different physical and emotional needs. Presently, I work for a company called PESG which contracts my services to several local school districts. In the Farmington School District, I have worked in elementary school resource rooms, a severely impaired classroom at Harrison High School and Visions, a school for special needs young adults. 7 of my children are grown and gone, and the youngest resides with his father. I am an empty nester looking for children to fill the void! While my degree is in Fine Arts, my entire adult life has been dedicated to children. They are my number one priority and my own can attest to the fact that if anything, I am maybe too attentive to their needs.
