I have worked in 2 different Camphill communities (a life sharing community for special needs children/adults) in Germany and Canada. In Germany I lived and worked for one year in a house with 8 special needs children and 8 caregivers. The experience absolutely changed my life, and made me grow incredibly passionate about working with people with special needs. I was the primary caregiver for 2 girls one of whom was severely epileptic. I also have experience working with children with Down syndrome, and was a swimming coach for Special Olympics. I treat the people I work with with respect, and look forward to making progress in whatever it is your child is working on/learning at the moment.
