I have a 13 years of experience working with seniors and adults with different disabilities. I have worked closely with a hospice patient and a cerebral palsy client as an IHHS provider, learned to evaluate and work with the psychosocial needs of my clients as a social worker in a 128 bed nursing home. As an administrator before of a 120 bed assisted living, I work hands on with my residents - mostly low income clients with either physical or mental disabilities. I assist them with their medication management and appointments, provide them one on one talks to uplift their spirits, and I even assist my caregivers/staff on the floor. I believe that caring for them is not just a job, it is a commitment that comes from the heart.
