I began working with children with special needs freshman year high school as a volunteer. In time, I became fascinated by their energy and motivation in life about learning and asking questions etc. I worked as a volunteer all through out high school. While attending USF, I offered assistant to those in need that could not attend class or had a hard time writing. I became a note taker for students in need of assistance. Towards the end of my college I became a nanny for a family of three who had twins one of them (the boy) with autism. I worked for the family for 2 years, it was the best experience ever. I am very patient, loving, and understanding. I enjoy taking my time in teaching them obstacles in life that may be challenging for the kids. I may not be certified but I have well over 4 years of experience and my past has taught me a lot. I know I can be a good candidate and I have great references.
