My summer job two summers ago was with a company called ResCare Homecare, I worked as a CNA and also provided respite care for children with disabilities. In high school I was a peer tutor in the special needs classroom for two years and also babysat a severely autistic child. I also do volunteer work with special needs adults through the faith club of Louisville, and the Best Buddies program at UK. People with special needs hold a special place in my heart, and I would love to provide the level of care that they deserve.
