I have been working for the State of Tennessee for 12 years as a DSP (Direct Support Person), taking care of individuals who are blind, on wheel chairs. Those I have cared for, I helped them bathe, dress them up, do their laundry, cook and feed them their meals. I keep their places clean, take them to their medical appointments, take to the parks, library and shopping. I have also worked as a job coach. I am passionate for what I am doing because it has given me the chance to extend my helping hands to people in need.
