I have been working with children and adults with special needs for most of my life. My first experience was as a full time care provider as a teenager with a child with cerebral palsy. I have worked in various Para professional positions in the school system and as a private PCA since 1999. I have worked with all ages, mostly with teens and young adults. I have a vast experience with autism and developmental disorders; my most recent experience is in the public school setting with Level IV high school students who have a primary diagnosis of EBD and mental illness. I am currently a student in the EBD/LD licensure program at MN State.
