I am a mother of a 16-year-old son who has autism, bipolar, oppositional defiance disorder, and sensory integration disorder. I have some sign language knowledge. I am willing to learn more. I have worked with a 16-year-old young man with apraxia from when he was born in Cincinnati, OH. I just recently moved to New Hampshire, and I have had a passion for working with special needs people since I was in high school. I volunteered for several years at a summer camp run just for kids and adults with various disabilities. As I said I am a mother with a special needs son, and I know how important it is to have someone to care for him when I am not available.
