Hi everyone. My name is Christine and I am a 23-year-old.. I worked in a daycare at my school. It was a practical child development course and I spent everyday in the daycare. The ages were from 2 - 6. I was an intern for a fourth grade class and a high school freshmen class. It was a blast. I interacted with the kids and we had a wonderful time. I attended the Special Olympics and the time was amazing. I have worked with many people who had special needs that I either met in the classrooms for the years I've attended Illinois State. I also was involved in a program for Illinois State which was called SSID. We would host events for children with special needs like a Halloween event which was a huge success. I loved every moment with them. I love to do actives outside like Frisbee or some sort of fun game, to keep the kids active. I love to have a great time and make sure everyone is happy from the time I get there to the time that I leave.
