I have had clients living in my home for the past 13 years! I love being their extended family! I have a heart for the Developmentally Disabled in particular. I am a mom of 8 adopted children (now grown), several of which had special needs of their own. My son, with autism, is married to his love, a woman with Downs, and they live around the corner from us. They have been married almost 3 years now! I truly enjoy helping empower individuals to reach higher potentials. I especially love seeing that our "special needs" people can find love as a couple, and have our home available to couples (or individuals) who wish to move towards more independence by having their own space (yet still having caregiving people in the same home for added support). I am open to being your loved one's "home" or coming to them where they live now to help enrich their life.
