I currently am employed in a Public School System and working as a Para-educator in a program. I work one-on-one with autistic children ranging from ages 3-7. I love my job. It is rewarding for me to be a part of establishing the framework that will ultimately change these children's lives. I love hearing a non-verbal child say their first word. It causes my heart to melt because it lets me know that the job I'm doing is effective.
