I was a Special Ed and Speech Therapy Aide and Substitute teacher for grades k-12. I instructed students involved in remedial studies. I tested and monitored the individual proficiency levels of each student. I was a Home Health Aide. I assisted special needs individual in becoming proficient in daily living skills, evaluated progress and assisted in the development of personal goals. I was a Therapy Tech Aide III. My duties were to assist special needs individuals in a group home setting who were preparing to transition into permanent group homes. I provided respite care for caregivers of special needs individuals. I assisted in training and providing care to individuals to complete daily living skills and personal goals. I was a Home Supervisor and my duties were to train and supervise direct care staff. I implemented and documented the required needs and goals of special needs individuals. I created and participated in activities that enriched all aspects of each special needs individual's daily life. I have worked with individuals diagnosed with varied special needs.
