I have been a Special Education Paraprofessional for 15 years working one-on-one with students in elementary schools. Working in this field has given me a lot of experience with child development. I also babysit during the week/weekends for families with children with Autism/ADHD. Personal experience gained by raising my own two children, now 18 and 22 years old, helped solidify my love for education and childcare. Helping children discover new interests, hobbies and develop as individuals fuels my passion for the career. During my career, I've pursued an education background in Art and Communications and multiple training certifications in the areas of Autism, ADHD, and Behavioral Development. Personally, I enjoy reading, drawing, biking, and gardening in my spare time. My disposition is extremely patient, kind, upbeat, playful, and nurturing.
