I have worked as a teacher for students in elementary and middle grades for over 6 years. I taught children with all types of disabilities. Also, I worked as a recreation therapist at a residential home for children and adults with autism for 1 1/2 years. I have learned form and loved every child that I have worked with. I truly believe that all children have the ability to succeed no matter what obstacles they may have to face. Also, as an only child, I took care of both of my parents before they went to heaven. What a tremendous blessing it was to me to be able to care for them before they left this earth.
