I am a mother & wife with an inactive LPN license in the state of FL. I worked in a hospital on a med/surg post OP floor when in FL. I was caregiver to my father-in-law for 19 years & a home school mom as well. Since my father-in-law passed away, I have been taking part-time flexible jobs caring for elderly & special needs clients. I feel I am called to care giving. I am originally from Pensacola and recently moved back after 18 yrs in OK. I have a niece with IDIC15, type 1 diabetes and seizure disorder that I have helped my sister with and have seen what a need is there. I am comfortable with any medical needs including trach care, blood sugar monitoring, insulin injections, feeding tube, cath care etc. I feel like my skills would be more useful with clients with medical issues but am open to all situations. I have experience with elderly with dementia, cancer, Alzheimers, PSP, MS, diabetes, CHF, etc. I am active in my church and can provide personal as business references.
