I'm a wonderful mother of three with a deep passion for wanting to help any person who isn't capable of caring for themselves. I am highly experienced in caring for disabled children and adults. I had my first hand experience with my big brother from the age of 9 to 17. I cared for my brother who had cerebral palsy and severe scoliosis. Every day I fed, clothed, bathed, groomed, and even was his home nurse giving him medications and changing any sore bandages and surgery wounds. After my brother passed away in 2007 I knew that this was something that I wanted to make a career of but only to those with challenges and disabilities. So many people including my brother's doctor at the children's hospital acknowledged the sincerity and passion I have for children or adults who need help, even parents. For years the doctors told my mom that he wouldn't live to see 7, 10, 15, and 18 but he lived to almost see 20 due to great care. I'm familiar with the baclofen pump, severe scoliosis, G tubes or feeding tubes including giving formula and giving medicine through the G tube. After leaving home I started caring for an elderly woman who had a fierce attitude and both legs amputated and needed to complete simple tasks daily.
