I have provided care for children specifically; my niece, with sensory integration disorder; mild autism, seizures, developmental delay, asthmatic, ADD, ADHD, mild cerebral palsy and other challenges. I trained at Children's Therapy Center Puyallup with my niece (4 years old) to learn the exercises and therapy procedures best suited for her needs. This interaction took place from approx 1998-2005. The processes included, not limited to: brushing, pumps, games, swinging, balancing board, and others. I read and researched on my own more information on her challenges and needs. Her brother has ADHD and anger issues. I provided child care for both children from 1997-2009. I believe the experience I have with child care and special needs concern child care will allow the parent peace of mind while in my care.
