I am a teacher who works with students who have special needs. I teach at a special school in the Des Moines area. I have worked in two different types of classrooms. My first classroom had students with severe autism, non-verbal, and behavioral needs. My second classroom had a mixture of Down Syndrome, Autism, multiple disabilities, developmental delays, and ADD. I enjoyed both classrooms and love seeing the children grow and learn. I know a variety of techniques and have been through several trainings that have allowed me to become a great teacher. I love teaching and am anxious for another year to start, but would love to get to know other kiddos along the way. I currently have a 7-year-old son and a 9-month-old daughter that I adore and enjoy spending time with.
