I have both my Master's and Bachelor's degree in Social Work. Currently, I am Developmental Disabilities Social Worker. Due to my schedule needing to meet the needs of my clients I am not able to work during the week and am only looking to pick up occasional hours on the weekends or Friday evenings. Unfortunately, I am not able to work with anyone currently receiving services through Dakota County, as that may cause a conflict of interest. I have many years of experience watching children and working with people with developmental disabilities. I have been caring for children of all ages since I was 12 and I worked in child welfare for two years. I have worked with people who have disabilities for almost 10 years and am passionate about enriching their lives and advocating for their best interest as well as their wants and needs. I worked with adults and children who had various disabilities for over five years as a direct support professional in various group homes. I was a program director for four group homes for people who had developmental disabilities and mental illness. I also have experience doing counseling with people who have developmental disabilities.
