I have been working at my local Methodist church, as a nursery worker for about four years now. My primary job, is to watch a special needs, teenage boy with Autism that I enjoy very much. Last year, I was given the opportunity to be able to watch the same boy, at his home, everyday after school. Once summer came into session, I was no longer needed, but the time that I did have, I enjoyed and cherished very much. I was in charge of his basic needs, such as food and bathroom needs. I played inside and outside with him, and every week I treated him with a trip to McDonalds. I myself am a type one juvenile diabetic, have been for 10 years now, so I know first hand how to manage and take care of diabetes.
