I currently work part time as a supported home living personal support assistant providing care to a young man with mild MR. I am involved in this young man's life as a mentor, tutor, and a "big brother". With this individual as well as with other clients, I have provided services to work on IP skill development, teach leisure time activities, develop socially valued behavior, and transport to and return them home from community activities. During the Spring of 2012, I also became certified as a Skills 1 Basketball Coach for the Special Olympics.
