I love taking care of the elderly they have a story to tell and I love being the ear to listen to them. Ive taken care of my great grandma and great grandpa sense I was in Jr high and I loved it. Till this day I help take care of my great grandma who has dementia.

Growing up my mother was a caregiver, and her mother before that. I loved seeing their passion to help people. This was ingrained into me as a young child and has followed me throughout my life. I am currently studying Psychology, with only two semesters left at College before obtaining my degree. I am a very kind, patient, and loving person who would love to extend that into the lives of others. I do have my own vehicle, and a flexible schedule seeing as I only go to school part time in order to work. I feel like care giving has not only taught me a lot but it also allows me to grow and expand my perspective as I get to interact with all walks of life. Some prior tasks I have experience in include but are not limited too: grocery shopping, housekeeping, laundry, yard work, driving too and from any appointment, assistance getting dressed, meal preparation, etc.

I have worked for the last two year as a private caregiver for a 91-year-old female. I was providing companionship, providing personal hygiene, preparing meals, taking her to doctor appointments, administering medications, outings, running errands, assisting with wheelchair, walker and cane among other duties. For the six years prior to that, I provided care to my father. I was taking him to doctor appointments, administering medication, among other duties.
