I will be available for full-time nannying starting June 1st, but could start flexible date nights/part-time now. I am comfortable with 1 or more children of any age, & I can provide other services in addition to childcare (tutoring, cooking, etc.) I have been babysitting since I was 12 (when I took the Red Cross babysitting course) & have had many jobs working with kids since. I worked at my summer camp for 4 years with kids ages 3. 5-16, where we did beach activities, arts and crafts, & swimming. I also worked with an urban farming group teaching organic gardening to kids. I was a lifeguard for 5+ years before moving to CA, & have tutored in multiple subjects. I enjoy outdoor activities like swimming and hiking, & also rock climbing. I like to make art, play music, read, and cook. I love working with kids & like to keep it fun, silly, and safe! Will provide references from clients in SD upon request, & would be willing to get re-certified in CPR/First Aid in CA if required.

We first met Zoe when we were looking for Christmas vacation care for our two kids (5 and 2, respectively). Both had two weeks off from school/daycare, and my wife and I were still working during that period. Like any kids, ours can sometimes be a bit reluctant to leave mom and dad, but with Zoe... it was the total opposite. From day one, they were like "Okay parents, see ya!" and had so much fun with Zoe. In addition to the standard things ("responsible", "communicative") which you'd expect of any nanny/babysitter/caregiver, Zoe is *fun*! Like, she really engages the kids on their level, brings great energy and excitement, and is enthusiastic about taking the kids anywhere, and doing anything that we suggest. The zoo, parks, trampolining, things that might tire out some, Zoe takes in her stride. Zoe has our total confidence, whether babysitting our kids in our house, or taking the kids on far flung adventures. We know they're safe and - just as important - that they're having fun!
