About Zelda

I have found a job! Hello! My name is Zelda and I am in the last semester of my Early Education degree at the University of Minnesota. Right now, I am student teaching in a 3-5 classroom, Monday through Friday. I have worked with children ages birth through 13, in many different settings, including daycares, both early and elementary classrooms, the YMCA as a swim instructor, after-school programs like the Boys and Girls Club, and in the homes of children that I have nannied or babysat. My teaching philosophy is rooted in my belief that children are absolutely amazing! They deserve respect and the knowledge of their own autonomy. I love witnessing learning as it happens because when they are little, everything is so new, exciting, and intriguing. I truly have found my passion and I hope to be a part of your kiddo (s) journey. I am available from the end of May through the end of August, as I will be entering the education master's program at the U of M in the fall.
