Child Care Provider

Hello, I was born and raised in South Minneapolis and currently reside in Northeast Minneapolis. I am a fun-loving, energetic, and creative individual with a passion for children and animals. I love to read, spend time with my young niece, workout, play with my dogs, travel, hang with friends, be creative, scrapbook, and listen to music. I have a four year degree in Early Childhood Education and Development. I also have lots of hands on experience. I have been a nanny for 10 years now while also working part time as a preschool teacher for the last eight years. I have babysat throughout my entire life for multiple families with children of various ages. I regularly care for my nearly 3-year-old niece who is the light of my life. Every where I go I find myself drawn to children and love making kids laugh and smile!

Terra is AWESOME! My house has never been more organized! She was great with my boys (10 & 12) and she bonded with my dogs (2 mini dachshunds is not an easy task). Terra organized my crazy house: getting all of the toys / clothes / etc put away or donated for things we've outgrown. Everything is in bins, labeled, and we now have a system to keep our house in control. Household activities: She did an amazing job with laundry, organized my kitchen (it was a new kitchen and had to be setup), did kid pick up/drop off, and more. I can't say enough good things about Terra. She is awesome!

8 Years Of Experience In Child Care

Hi, I'm a 4th year nursing student who absolutely adores working with children. Previously I worked at a hospital as a Nursing Station Technician. I'm currently a Health Care Advisor at Optum United HealthCare. I started working with kids when I was 8 years old. Helping out in my aunt's daycare, I learned a lot of fundamental aspects about child care and the dynamics of how to care for children. Also being the eldest of four children I've always played the caretaker role naturally and efficiently. I worked in a camp where we are trained to work with ages 6 weeks to 10 years old, during that time a began also working as a full time nanny. I've nannied for over 25 families and have taken numerous classes and training's and received many certifications to insure the children I work with have the best experience and safest care (certified in oxygen, first aid, and child and adult CPR). If I seem like I may be compatible for your family I'd love to be of service!

We absolutely loved the 8 months we were able to have Sepedty care for our son! As a brand new mom returning to work, I really wanted to know that our four-month-old son was in great hands, and Sepedty made it so easy for me to trust that he was safe and happy throughout the day. She genuinely loves the kids she cares for, and was very warm, flexible, and easy to work with! She instantly built trust with our son because of her warmth and joyful personality. She did a great job of looking up creative activities that matched his age, like dance parties and sorting activities, and dreaming up fun outings like going to the aquarium, park, zoo, or library as he got older. She has excellent childcare experience and great ongoing relationships with so many of the families she has worked for in the past. I would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for excellent care!

Hello! I am a formerly licensed teacher who has taught middle school French, K-5 ESL, and English and math to adult refugees and immigrants. I have been nannying full-time for the past 7 years now already. I am unusual in that I like to work with multiple families per week on an as-needed basis because I thrive on variety. If a family does need consistent care one full day per week, I may be able to accommodate that, but right now I am enjoying the flexibility of an ever-changing schedule. I do like all children, but I would say that I am ageist and prefer working with newborns and infants. I have trained to be a postpartum doula and also have lots of experience with multiples. I am fully vaccinated and choose to only work with families where everyone who is eligible is also vaccinated. I am not currently taking on any new families. (Updated 9/24/21)

Anne and I met (via Care.com) to discuss childcare for my 9 month old son and from the moment I met her I could tell she had a pleasant demeanor and sweet temperament. She is so respectful, kind and patient. My son was immediately comfortable with Anne and I was pleased to see how playful Anne was with him (e.g. getting down on the floor with him in his pack and play and playing, reading and talking to him) and it was obvious she had experience. She has exceptional manners, is trustworthy, self-confident, responsible & dependable, active & healthy, and flexible. I could go on and on about how wonderful we think Anne is! She has been a true blessing to our family and we appreciate her more than words do justice. She has never been late and has proven to be extremely punctual. Anne is all positives!! Highly recommended!!
