Hi I'm Amanda, and I have worked with children in various capacities throughout my lifetime. Most recently, I have been dedicated to infant care, as you will see in my resume. Since 2013 I have been employed in early childhood settings, schools or in family homes, of which nannying is my favorite! A lot of my joy in working with children stems from being the "big sister" in my family & childcare provider in the neighborhood. While I didn't have the child development milestone knowledge in the 1990's, my heart had the passion for creativity & care. I remember spending a lot of time engaging with children in imaginary play, theater performance, literature & art activities. My hope is to continue as a nanny into retirement. I highly recommend Amanda. We hired Amanda to watch our 3 month old infant when I returned to work from maternity leave. She also watched our 2 year-old on occasion. Amanda has a wealth of experience working with infants and toddlers- from the daycare setting to nannying with other families, and it really shows in her care. She is reliable, punctual and dependable even in the cold, snowy Minnesota winter. She has excellent communication skills.
