About Caitlin

My name is Caitlin. I am a recent graduate of Luther College and received my B. A. in Elementary Education with an endorsement in reading, and I also graduated with honors. I have always loved working with children and known for a long time that it would be my future career. I have been babysitting for well over 10 years with children ages 6 months-14 years old. The past three summers I've full time nanny and worked at summer camps. I have also spent a month in a 3rd grade classroom, a 1st grade classroom, and a semester in a kindergarten for 3 hours a day student teaching. This fall I will finish the rest of my student teaching. This past year I have also been tutoring students through an after-school program I worked at and with families in the community around Luther College. My main focus with students was improving their literacy and math skills. In addition to working with children I love to sing and play piano, spend time with family and friends, travel, hike, run, and cook!
