Childhood is such a beautiful yet challenging time of our lives. And because of this, every adult around us has the opportunity to affect that for better or for worse. For me, I love being a positive influence, it makes me smile knowing that as this child grows up, I can be a happy memory for them. I grew up as an only child, so I loved babysitting as I way to fill that "Big Sister" role. My first babysitting job was at my local church in Dallas, where I assisted in the nursery on Sundays. My favorite thing of all time though is cooking and baking, which is a hobby I learned at a young age myself. My skills include emotion management, patience, and decision making. When caring for children, I find these skills to be important not only for their experience but also their safety. As a sitter, I love to be hands-on with the child whether that's with crafts, homework, chores, etc. But, my primary goal is to provide a new experience through learning and play!
