Yenla is such an attentive, loving, and dedicated nanny. We met her prior to the birth of your second baby, when we were needing someone to stay home with her upon us returning to work. We were nervous as this was the first time we sought outside care besides family. Yenla was the first nanny we interviewed after a few searches on care.com and found her to be perfect to “join our family” after we met. She tentatively checked in on the last few months before our daughter was born and came to meet her a few weeks after. They were soulmates from the start with our baby sensing her gentle approach and feeling safe in her arms. Once I returned to work we found Yenla to be willing to join us full time. We felt so safe with her in caring for our baby until she recently joined Montessori school. Yenla taught her so much at home, from sending us pictures and videos of all her milestones to teaching her Cameroon dances. Our toddler also took a liking to her and often stayed home on sick days with her, which she was always willing to come in. She was careful with our family and came in vaccinated, it was not required prior to meeting but her willingness stood out. Yenla remains a part of our family still in that our children often ask to see their “best friend” and we connect with her often. She truly is a light and so dedicated to her role in childcare, growth, development and understanding.
