Hi! I'm a responsible, thoughtful, and creative bilingual (Spanish/English) teacher with over 15 years of experience working with children. I truly love working with kids because they're full of energy, curiosity, and a sense of adventure. I strive to bring fun, learning, and kindness into everything I do. I'm currently looking for a summer nanny or babysitting position in Utah (UT), as I'll be staying with my sister there from June 9th through early August. Although I live in North Carolina, I'm excited to spend the summer in a new place and help out a family while I'm there! In 2014, I also worked as an au pair, which was a wonderful and enriching experience. In my free time, I enjoy reading, walking, exploring cities, trying new restaurants, and traveling. Ximena took care of my son for 2 months during her time off from her school job last year. She is very reliable and an exceptional nanny. She would engage my son in age appropriate activities and kept him well entertained with toys, read him books, did constructive and sensory play with him. She would keep the play areas clean and organized after they were done playing. He still looks forward to having her over when we call her occasionally over the weekends. I would have loved to have her continue as my son's nanny if she did not have to go back to her school job. I would very highly recommend Ximena for your childcare needs.
