I have tons of experience with animals both in high school and college. Two years ago, I was involved with a veterinary internship at Mountain View Animal Hospital. It was quite the experience both challenging and enriching. I have cared for a variety of animals including; goats, horses, chickens, cats, dogs, snakes, bearded dragons, fish, ferrets, etc. When working with pets, people need to be sure of the animals expression an behavior. Such as it's tail slanted or ears pointing back. This will allow you to comfort the animal, get them quickly back to normal and also protect yourself. I also worked at Sleepy Dog Kennel with 30+ dogs at a time, breaking up dog fights, knowing how to handle food, dog, or kennel aggressive dogs, grooming, bathing and nail trimming. There were trainings for dog burns, cuts, injuries, CPR, dehydration, temperature checks, fecal samples, ect.
