About Wilhelmina

My passion for caregiving started at 17 when I spent a summer helping my great grandparents in Washington. I took on meal planning, grocery shopping, cooking, and house cleaning, all while offering heartfelt companionship. Later, during my second year of college, my grandfather was diagnosed with Super Nuclear Palsy, a condition that progressively affects cognitive abilities. I took a break from school to assist my grandmother with his care, particularly after her shoulder surgery. As my grandfather's condition worsened, I became deeply involved in helping with dressing, mobility, and attending medical appointments, alongside my family, until his passing. These experiences have deeply influenced my approach to caregiving. They've reinforced my commitment to providing compassionate, respectful, and dignified care, especially during life's most challenging moments. I am dedicated to offering support and comfort to both individuals and their families.
