About Whitney

If I were to describe myself as a character, that would be Miss Frizzle!! I'd describe my personality as goofy, creative and easygoing! I like working with kids because they have an authenticity most adults don't, they're incredibly creative, and they're excellent learners! I'm looking for a job that allows me to help kids grow in their creativity! I started working with kids when I was a kid myself! My mother owned a store in my hometown, and my job was to watch the kids of the parents that came in to shop. Often the parents would stay longer because their kid didn't want to leave. I've also substituted in a preschool classroom, and offered childcare to friends and family! In my spare time, I like to craft, draw and read! One thing you should know about me is I make a mean lasagna ^v^ My skills include reading bedtime stories with conviction, offering enriching activities and helping with homework!
