Hey, my name is Vincent. My experience with supporting people includes: working as a camp counselor and sports director for four years, babysitting for a family with four kids for one year, living and working in an intentional community, as a direct support caregiver to adults with disabilities for three years, nannying for three kids for three years, working as a teaching assistant for a year, and working as a behavior technician for a year. At the moment I am supporting a 10-year-old who is diagnosed with ADHD and ASD with after school activities including meal prep, exercise, and other daily activities on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12-6:30 pm, I am looking to support someone outside of that time. When I'm not supporting other people, I'm an artist. I also enjoy eating healthily, simple cooking, exercising, playing video games, and doing outdoor activities. I am also vaccinated against COVID-19 and CPR-certified. Please feel free to reach out with any questions.

I have known Vince for two years while he has been a caregiver at my adult daughter's group home. His quiet, reserved demeanor belies the dedication that he shows everyday to the individuals with whom he shares life. Rather than being effusive and always talking, Vince quietly connects with people where they are. I have met too many caregivers who talk a good game to the parents but then go on to ignore the people they have been hired to work with. That is NOT Vince. There is no condescension, no treating adults like children. He deals with people in an age-appropriate manner. I have never seem him ruffled by perseverance or challenging behaviors . I think his calmness has a very positive affect on the people who surround him. He has an interest in promoting exercise and the physical health of people in his care. He treats everyone, with or without disabilities, with the same dignity. He promotes healthy living and shares his love of art with everyone. He has many talents.
