I have worked closely with children in a summer camp setting for the past 7 summers. I planned activities for a small cabin group, ages ranging 6-17, and supervised them for weeks at a time. My goal was to provide magical experiences for them and to teach them lifelong skills. I also worked in elderly care for 6 months, and in that time I assisted with basic daily living tasks such as brushing teeth, bathing, and ambulation. What I want from a job is to enact positive change on others in whatever way I can.
