About Vanessa

I'd describe my personality as kind, patient and understanding. I like caring for seniors because they are people that require a lot of patience and understanding. I never take anything personal specially with seniors when they can be expected to have their unpleasant days. I'm looking for a job that values me as a person and understands I'm there for the sole purpose of helping in whatever way I can. I started caring for seniors when I was about 25 years old. I've worked in group homes mostly with seniors on the spectrum so I can handle difficult scenarios. I'm equipped with the knowledge and training. In my spare time, I like to take nature walks such as hiking going to the beach or cycling in a park. I'm also a mom to three wonderful kids. One thing you should know about me is that I'm extremely kind and compassionate and people take that for granted. My skills include CPR, behavioral respite and CPI.
