Hello! My name is Valerie, and I was employed at The Goddard School of Mullica Hill for 4 years, before nannying for a child from 5 weeks to almost 2 years old. I've worked with children ages 4 weeks to 5 years old, but have the most experience with children 6 weeks to 18 months. I have a Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certification. I have a Bachelors in Radio, Television, and Film, and took several free electives about child psychology and education while in college. I am a firm believer in montessori and gentle parenting styles. I'm looking for a full time job (at least 30 hours a week) and can definitely negotiate evening/weekend hours, though I'm also a competitive ballroom dancer who takes lessons certain weekday evenings and occasionally competes during weekends. I'm willing to help with housekeeping, errands, etc., and am very open to helping families in any way I can! I look forward to helping a family in need of a nanny, and watching, playing with, and educating their children!

Valerie has been with our family since our son was 5 weeks old. She supported us through postpartum challenges and cared for him with love, consistency, and professionalism. Her communication is excellent, & she always kept us updated with photos and milestones. She’s been a huge part of our son’s first two years & the only reason why we’re parting ways is because of my military relocation. Our son absolutely adores her and loves their time together. Any family would be truly lucky to have her!
