Hi! My name is Valerie and I just moved here from Eugene, OR. Prior to moving, I was an early childhood teacher at Penelope's Place Childcare for nearly 2 years! Our philosophy was centered around the importance of free play, socio-emotional development, and spending ample time in nature. I have experience with children ages 5months-12 years, with the most experience in the infant through preschool range. We also had a small after-school cohort from the elementary school across the street. We were a 100% screen free center, meaning I am very comfortable entertaining children without screen time if that is the family preference!
