I have been a babysitter, nanny, and house manager for the past 9 years and have cared for children of all ages. My experience began in high school doing random date night sitting for friends of the family and people in the neighborhood, when I discovered I loved working with kids and how rewarding it was spend time with them and put a smile on their face. I worked mostly with toddlers aged 2 and 3 and here I learned general skills related to toddlers and got a feel for bedtime routines. I went on to nanny for my first large family of four. Here I did an 8-5 schedule that include dropping older kids, aged 7, 8 and 10, at day camp and then returning home to take care of a 1-year-old and in between naps handle laundry, cleaning and other household work. After day camp I picked the older kids up and returned them home, where I helped them with their daily math and reading work, and then finished out the day with play time. From here I went on to work with another large family of 5.
