I have worked or spent time with a few children with special needs. In college I lived with a family whose daughter has developmental delays. I worked with a girl with severe delays at my past preschool job. At my small church there is a boy with Autism. I enjoy spending time with these kids because they are usually quite sweet and just need a little extra patience and love. I believe I am fit for giving special needs care because I am caring and compassionate.
